Beginner sewing workshop at Astratton Studios is a hands-on class designed to help students confidently learn the fundamentals of sewing using both hand techniques and sewing machines. This workshop is ideal for complete beginners who want to understand the basics of sewing in a supportive and practical learning environment.
During this beginner sewing workshop, participants will learn essential skills such as proper measurements, fabric cutting, garment basics, threading a needle, and operating a sewing machine. The class is structured to guide you step by step, making it easy to follow even if you have no prior sewing experience. Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine so they can learn how to use their specific model; however, in-house sewing machines are also available upon request.
This workshop takes place in a creative studio setting that allows for focused learning and personal guidance. Each session is designed to give students hands-on practice while building confidence and foundational skills they can use for future projects. Whether your goal is to sew clothing, make simple home items, or begin a creative hobby, this class provides a strong starting point.
The beginner sewing workshop is held on Sunday mornings from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Advance confirmation is required—please call or text to confirm your appointment.
